Licensing and approval
MEJ Healthcare Services is licensed by the Massachusetts Division of Occupational Licensure, Office of Private Occupational School Education (DOL), and its Nursing Assistant program is approved by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH). This approval means the nurse aide program meets state and federal standards.
Non-discrimination
MEJ Healthcare Services prohibits discrimination and harassment based on race, color, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected under federal, state, or local law.
Transfer of credit
MEJ Healthcare Services does not accept transfer credit toward its program, and does not permit Leaves of Absence, in accordance with Department of Public Health requirements for Nurse Aide training.
Job placement
MEJ Healthcare Services does not guarantee employment or provide direct job placement. Students receive career-readiness support, including résumé workshops, interview preparation, and life-skills training. Any references provided by the school do not guarantee employment.
Financial aid
MEJ Healthcare Services does not participate in state or federal financial assistance programs and does not offer loans or scholarships.
Refund policy
Refunds are governed by Massachusetts law (M.G.L. c. 255, Section 13K, and 230 CMR 15.04). Withdrawal ends the enrollment agreement, and any refund is calculated and issued within 45 days. A full refund, less reasonable administrative costs, is available if a student withdraws before completing five school days or five percent of the program, whichever comes first.
Inclement weather
Clinical rotations continue unless the school officially closes. Students should use their best judgment about safe travel but must notify their instructor by phone or email, and any missed clinical time must be made up. For weather-related closures and updates, call 781-572-0724.
Student records
Student records are kept in secure physical and electronic storage and are retained for a minimum of seven years, in accordance with state requirements. Students may review their own records upon written request. For details on how we handle personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
